Data Recovery Considerations

drivesavers(Free Members Only) Ever since personal computers have become a common household item, consumers and businesses alike have been driving the data recovery industry to new heights. Instead of keeping our photo albums, our music, video library, and important documents stored in nice binders or storage racks, we now opt to keep our stuff organized in digital files and folders on our personal computers. Computers have come so far, so fast, that most people just weren’t prepared how to protect their digital clouds of information, and many have lost their life’s work, their media library, even their baby pictures, because they were not backed-up. Malware Removal Using System Restore

What Is System Restore?

System RestoreFirst of all, for those who don’t know what System Restore is, System Restore is a built-in Windows utility that can restore your computer’s “System Files” to a previous point in time. The System Protection feature in Windows regularly creates these System Restore checkpoints, but they can also be created manually. It’s a fairly easy way to undo undesired system changes to your computer without affecting your personal data files, such as documents, pictures, music, videos, e‑mail, and more. As such, it also will not bring back any personal data files you may have lost. It will however, affect programs, windows updates, drivers, system settings, Windows account passwords, etc., that you have setup since the date of the System Restore point you are rolling back to. See the video below for an overview on how to use System Restore to remove a malware infection. Read More Here…

Don’t Get Infected Trying to Fix Drivers

Bad DriversA high percentage of computers I check-in for spyware removal have one or more driver utility programs installed, not to mention, some other no-name registry cleaners and other fix-it type utilities. While some people might unknowingly download a driver utility program as part some software bundle, others might  intentionally download one after they suspected they might have a driver problem. But if you feel you have encountered some bad drivers like in this picture, read-on… Read More Here…

How to Remove CyberDefender – aka MyCleanPC.com and DoubleMySpeed.com

CyberDefenderI have warned about CyberDefender’s “borderline scam” before under my “Reviews” category. But it seems like a good time to get out the warning again, especially since the economy has prompted so many people to try and fix their own computer problems, rather than to have them fixed by a professional. I call it a “borderline scam” because they probably do just enough to fulfill some bare-minimum, mumbo-jumbo legal requirement. First of all, MyCleanPC.com and DoubleMySpeed.com are alias websites for CyberDefender.com. These websites are all owned by the same company, which all promote the same products such as CyberDefender PC Checup, Early Detection Center, and Registry Cleaner. Read More Here…

breaking newsNo doubt, many have already heard about the death of Osama bin Laden on 01May2011 in Pakistan by U.S. Forces.
